Fashion Design Intern

Mokash clothing is looking for a fashion design college student or recent graduate who would like the opportunity to be a part of a growing fashion brand.

Our fashion design internship program will allow you to learn real life experience through designing cross-functional projects that support Mokash’s mission and Ideation for product development. The intern will have the opportunity to design product from beginning to end, learn product management and merchandising, sourcing and sustainability. The internship will last approximately three months. This is a non-paid opportunity with flexible hours.*

Responsibilities:

• Work with the owner of the brand developing a new line for upcoming campaign collections.

• Prepare presentation boards as needed.

• Create illustrator sketches for garment styling, including color sketches, print, and patterns.

• Develop construction specifications.

• Attend weekly meetings (for example: reviews, and marketing campaign meetings).

• Flexible for other duties as needed to help support the overall business.

Requirements:

• Must be a college student studying for a fashion design degree or a recent college graduate with relevant degree.

• Knowledgeable of material and garment construction.

• Experience in building compelling visual presentations (powerpoint/indesign).

• Must have a self-starter attitude with the ability to be a team player.

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be organized and be able to work on multiple projects.

• Strong research skills and a drive to make things happen.

• Ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives.

• Ability to be able to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse team.
